Interested in becoming part of the Te Amo Atawhai Whānau?
We are always on the lookout for Kaimahi Tautoko to join our team across the motu
Te Amo Atawhai means a shoulder to bear and we are looking for people who are compassionate and dedicated to be that shoulder for our Kiritaki / Clients.
We pride ourselves in being an Aotearoa Māori whānau owned and operated company and are always on the look for new Kaimahi Tautoko throughout the motu. We look for experienced, flexible, culturally confident people to join our team, however training is available and cares can vary, meaning you don’t always need to be qualified, you can be ready to learn!
We provide care for Kiritaki / Clients throughout NZ, and travel is usually paid (T&C’s apply). You must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license, as kiritaki/clients are in their own homes, which means you may be travelling to multiple homes in a day.
Casual and full-time permanent positions are available, meaning the work can fit around your lifestyle. We strive to keep the same Kaimahi Tautoko with the Kiritaki throughout their whole journey with us, this also helps you maintain a healthy routine and work structure.
We have a great support network of Resource Coordinators, People and Culture team and Cultural Advisor and trainer. No matter where you are in your professional journey in the health and wellbeing sector, we are here to support you. Once employed, all staff are inducted via our Te Amo Atawhai in-house cultural training and orientation program, that is provided by our Cultural Advisor.
If you have a strong passion to help people in your community to live the best life possible and are wanting to enhance the cultural aspect of whānau, hapū and iwi intertwined with their cares, this is the right place for you!
If you’re interested in a position email your CV and cover letter to: HR@TeAmoAtawhai.co.nz and one of the friendly staff will get in contact with you OR phone us on 0800 183 266.
